Workshop: Page Turners – Building Suspense through Structure and Secret Keeping

In by Shelley Pisani

with Edwina Shaw

Whether you’re a plotter or a pantster, finding the right structure to hang your story from is the key to writing that keeps readers turning pages. In this workshop with author and teacher of creative writing and yoga, Edwina Shaw, learn how to identify and arrange your plot elements for greatest impact, meaning and suspense. Using well known fairy tales as examples, Edwina will show you how to engage your readers with a hook that won’t let them go, and then arrange your story to keep them on the edges of their seats, or up all night.

This workshop runs for 2.5 hours. Ticket price includes afternoon tea. Lunch will be available for purchase before the workshop.
